The 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, honoring the best in primetime television programming from June 1, 2012 until May 31, 2013, were held on September 22, 2013 at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California. CBS televised the ceremony within the United States.

The host of the event was Neil Patrick Harris of “How I Met Your Mother” fame.


It was a night of surprises and shocks at the Emmys.
